What's changed
Free delivery used to begin at £600 across every delivery zone. For City-core postcodes — everything within roughly a mile to a mile and a half of our kitchen at 42–44 Carter Lane, EC4V 5EA — that threshold is now £250. Outside the City core, free delivery stays at £600.
Why the City core is different
We're two minutes from St Paul's. Deliveries inside the Square Mile are short, predictable runs, so we pass that efficiency back to City customers. A £250 order — breakfast for a team, sandwich and salad platters for a client meeting, or individual Freedom Tray lunches for a group — now arrives with no delivery charge.

Which postcodes qualify
The £250 free-delivery threshold applies to Zone 1 — the City core and everything inside about a mile and a quarter: EC1, EC2, EC3, EC4, WC1 and WC2, covering Bank, Moorgate, Liverpool Street, St Paul's, Fleet Street, the Barbican, Aldgate and Cannon Street.
Three areas outside the City qualify too, because they are genuinely closer to our kitchen than parts of the Square Mile are: Holborn, Lincoln's Inn, Gray's Inn, the Temple, Kingsway, Bloomsbury and Covent Garden (WC1, WC2); Bankside, Southwark Street, Blackfriars Road, Borough and London Bridge (SE1 9, SE1 0, SE1 8, SE1 1, SE1 2); and Petticoat Lane and Spitalfields (E1 7, E1 6). Bankside is a shorter run from Carter Lane than Aldgate is. We price the distance, not the postcode letters — so all of these get the £250 threshold and the £12.50 fee.
Our walking-distance postcodes — EC4V, EC4Y, EC4M, EC4N and EC4A — are always free delivery on any order over the £150 minimum.

Volume pricing for standing orders
City teams that order regularly — a weekly team lunch, daily breakfast, or a standing Friday spread — qualify for volume pricing: 10% off at 50+ meals a week and 15% off at 100+ meals a week. Combined with free City-core delivery over £250, a recurring order becomes materially cheaper than piecing lunch together from several shops.
