Catering for law firms and chambers — from a kitchen inside the legal quarter
We are on Carter Lane, EC4V — between the Old Bailey and the Temple. Client lunches, mediation days, trials and training weeks, delivered on foot to your meeting room. Every item labelled, and made in a 100% nut-free kitchen.
We are closer to you than your sandwich shop is
Most catering arrives in a van, from a unit somewhere off the North Circular, after an hour in traffic. Ours is walked round from Carter Lane. The Old Bailey is 0.15 miles away. The Rolls Building is 0.41. The Inner Temple is 0.35. That is why food gets to you at the temperature it left in — and why, for most of the legal quarter, delivery is free.
What we get asked for
Almost always by front of house, office services or a PA — the people who actually have to make the room work.
Client lunches and pitches
The food is the firm, for an hour. It should look like the firm — and it should not be the thing anyone remembers afterwards for the wrong reason.
Mediations, arbitrations and trials
Long days, two sides who cannot eat in the same room, and a timetable that moves. We deliver to the room, not to a reception desk three floors down.
Trainee intakes and CPD
A trainee cohort is the most dietarily mixed room in the building. One order that genuinely covers all of it — not a sad separate box in the corner.
Completions and late nights
Deals close when they close. Food that still eats well at nine o’clock, rather than a curling platter that was made for one.
Bill each day to its own matter number
A five-day trial is not one order — it is five, and your finance team knows it. Connected Catering lets you plan a whole week in one go: different food, different headcount and a different cost centre or matter reference for each day, then check out once. The days stay separated on the paperwork, so the recharge is somebody’s five-minute job instead of their Friday afternoon.
A reference per day
Tag each day with the matter, the client or the cost centre. It comes back to you the same way, so nothing has to be unpicked afterwards.
One checkout, one invoice
Plan Monday to Friday in a single sitting and pay once, rather than raising five separate orders across five separate mornings.
The price before you commit
Delivery, minimums and totals are on screen at checkout. No quote, no call-back, no waiting on somebody’s proposal document.

✅ Yes — your coeliac client and your severely allergic trainee can both eat
Our kitchen is dedicated nut-free — no nuts have ever entered it, so there is nothing for you to risk-assess and no “may contain” to explain to a client. Gluten gets the same seriousness rather than a caveat: a separate gluten-free fryer, separate gluten-free freezers, and gluten-free food built to gluten-free recipes rather than adapted from something else. Gluten-free runs right through the menu instead of being a token option or two, and every item is labelled to Natasha’s Law. We are halal, with no pork and no alcohol on the premises. Coeliac customers order from us regularly — that is how the kitchen is built, not a favour we do.
Collecting the room’s dietary requirements
Ask a room of trainees “any allergies?” and you get silence — then a hand at 11:45 on the day. So don’t ask the room. We built a free tool that collects it privately, totals it for you, and sends the summary straight to our kitchen. No account, and you do not have to order from us to use it.
Questions firms and chambers ask
Is delivery really free to the Temple and the Old Bailey?
Yes. Our kitchen is on Carter Lane, EC4V. Anything inside the walking zone — EC4V, EC4Y, EC4M, EC4N and EC4A, which covers the Inns, the Old Bailey and the Rolls Building — is delivered on foot at no charge, with a £150 minimum order. There is no threshold you have to reach first.
Can you deliver to a specific meeting room or a set of chambers?
Yes. Put the building, floor and room in the delivery note and we take it there. Food left at a main reception is food that arrives cold, late, or not at all.
Can we bill each day of a trial to a different matter?
Yes. Connected Catering lets you plan each day separately — different menu, headcount and cost centre or matter reference per day — and check out once. The days stay separated so the recharge is straightforward.
Is it safe for a coeliac?
Yes. We run a separate gluten-free fryer and separate gluten-free freezers, and our gluten-free food is built to gluten-free recipes rather than adapted. Gluten-free runs right through the menu, and every item is labelled. Coeliac customers order from us regularly.
Is the food nut-free?
Yes. Ours is a dedicated nut-free kitchen — no tree nuts, no peanuts and no nut oils in any recipe or ingredient. There is no “may contain” for you to explain to anybody.
What is the minimum order, and how much notice do you need?
£150 across the legal quarter. Order by 2pm for next-day delivery, Monday to Friday.
