Its owner, Kirkbi — the LEGO Group's family holding company — is remodelling it to retain over 80% of the existing structure while targeting BREEAM Excellent and net-zero operation, explicitly aiming to attract a major global HQ tenant. Plough Place itself is also being partly pedestrianised as part of the same wider redevelopment, alongside neighbouring projects like New Street Square nearby — this whole pocket of Holborn is changing at once.
