How the Freedom Tray works
Each Freedom Tray is customised: a base of grain or salad, a protein from poultry, meat, fish, or plant-based options, and a selection of vegetables. The combination is assembled fresh that morning at our EC4 kitchen, labelled with full allergen information, and delivered in individual portions. For a team of 20, that means 20 individual trays — each clearly labelled, each meeting its recipient's dietary requirements, each the same quality as every other. No shared platters. No cross-contamination risk. No colleague receiving something different because the caterer could not cover their requirements.
Why individual portions beat shared platters for diverse teams
Shared platters create allergen management challenges that individual portions eliminate — dressings migrate between dishes, serving implements transfer allergens, and colleagues with dietary requirements must interrogate serving staff before eating. Individual Freedom Trays with full allergen labelling remove all of these challenges. Each person reads their own label, confirms their safety, and eats without anxiety or interrogation. Small Freedom Tray vs Large Freedom Tray
The Small Freedom Tray at £10.99 includes one base, one protein, and one vegetable selection — a satisfying individual lunch for the standard working day. The Large Freedom Tray at £13.99 includes two bases, two proteins, and two vegetable selections — the right format for colleagues with higher energy needs or for a more substantial occasion. A salmon add-on is available for £1.75 per tray. Minimum 10 trays per order.
